Requesting Articles
If you are affiliated with a health care institution in Washington State, you may have access to a hospital, medical, or health sciences librarian or library service. Working with that service is your best choice for obtaining copies of articles. If you don't have access to library services, one of the following options may help. PLEASE NOTE that HEAL-WA cannot provide document delivery services; you will need to use one of the options listed below to obtain copies of articles.
- Document Delivery Services at University of Washington Health Sciences Library
- Document Services at the Health Sciences Libraries (HSL) can provide copies of journal articles or book chapters and book loans for a fee.
- Washington Libraries offering Article Delivery Service
- There are a number of medical libraries in Washington State that offer article delivery services to unaffiliated health care professionals through Loansome Doc. See if there is one near you! Following this link, in the search boxes provided, select "WA - Washington" in the "Location" box, and "Loansome Doc articles" in the "Services Offered" box. Fees may be associated with ordering article copies.
