Nursing Reference Center iPhone app available!

The Nursing Reference Center (NRC) app for iPhone and iPad is available for download from the iTunes app store. PLEASE NOTE that you must first download the Nursing Reference Center app from iTunes.

After downloading the app, it must be authenticated from the Nursing Reference Center interface.

To authenticate the NRC app:

  1. Log into Nursing Reference Center.
  2. Click the Nursing Reference Center iPhone/iPod Touch Application link at the bottom of the page and enter your email address.
  3. An email with an authentication key is sent to you.
  4. Access the email from your device and click the link found in the email to authenticate the application.
You have 24 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 24 hours, it expires and you will need a new key.

Note: Once it is authenticated, the app can be used for nine months, after which you must send yourself a new authentication key from the NRC interface.

Getting Started

Certain resources in HEAL-WA (indicated by a lock lock) require a HEAL-WA access code (UW NetID) and password for access.

Once you have set up your HEAL-WA access code and password, LOG IN to HEAL-WA by clicking on the "Log In" button at the top of this column.

LOG OUT from HEAL-WA by simply closing your browser.

PLEASE NOTE that once you have set up your access code, it can take up to a day for your access code to be recognized so you can log in to HEAL-WA.
