Information about setting up your UW NetID and password

Some resources on HEAL-WA (indicated by a lock) are governed by license agreements that limit by whom these resources can be used.

Access to these resources is provided via a UW NetID and password, and is limited to members of selected groups of health care professionals who are licensed to practice in Washington State. *

  • ARNPs - your eligibility is through your RN license. Please register using your RN credential number, not your ARNP credential number.

  • HEAL-WA uses the UW NetID system for providing access to HEAL-WA. You are responsible for protecting your password and not sharing it with others.

  • To log out of HEAL-WA, simply close your browser.

If you have already set up your UW NetID and password for HEAL-WA, simply click on the "Log In" button in the column to the right to log in.

  • PLEASE NOTE that once you have set up your UW NetID, it may take up to a day for your UW NetID to be recognized so you can log in to HEAL-WA.

If you need to set up a UW NetID and password for HEAL-WA access, choose one of the following options:

  • Create a UW NetID - I do not have a UW NetID, am a member of one of the licensed professions listed above, and need to create a UW NetID so I can access HEAL-WA.
  • Add HEAL-WA affiliation - I currently have an active UW NetID, am a member of one of the licensed professions listed above, and need to add HEAL-WA access to my UW NetID.
    NOTE: HEAL-WA resources are separate from other UW resources, and HEAL-WA needs to be added separately to your UW NetID in order to use HEAL-WA resources.
  • * The professions that are eligible to access HEAL-WA include Chiropractors, East Asian Medicine Practitioners, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Massage Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, Midwives, Naturopathic Physicians, Optometrists, Osteopathic Physicians and Osteopathic Physician Assistants, Physicians and Physician Assistants, Podiatrists, Psychologists, Registered Nurses, and Social Workers.
  • Not licensed in one of the eligible professions? At this time, there is no provision for professionals other than those in the groups named above to access HEAL-WA. We recommend that you contact your Washington State professional organization and ask that organization's governmental relations committee to lobby the Washington State Legislature for your group to be included in HEAL-WA.

Getting Started

Certain resources in HEAL-WA (indicated by a lock lock) require a HEAL-WA access code (UW NetID) and password for access.

Once you have set up your HEAL-WA access code and password, LOG IN to HEAL-WA by clicking on the "Log In" button at the top of this column.

LOG OUT from HEAL-WA by simply closing your browser.

PLEASE NOTE that once you have set up your access code, it can take up to a day for your access code to be recognized so you can log in to HEAL-WA.
