Health Care Cost Transparency Board seeks members for Advisory Committee on Data Issues
Apr 26, 2021 - Do you have health care-related data and analysis or actuarial analysis expertise? Consider applying to become a member of the Advisory Committee on Data Issues. This committee is part of the Health Care Cost Transparency Board (HCCTB). The purpose of the HCCTB is to reduce health care cost growth and increase price transparency.
An important part of the HCCTB’s work is using data to:
• Identify Washington’s total health care expenditure.
• Measure spending against the cost benchmark, which is currently being developed.
• Analyze cost drivers.
• Identify systems that exceed the benchmark.
