Nurses whose primary state of residence (PSOR) is Washington can now apply to upgrade to a multistate license (MSL). From the Board of Nursing: Starting Jan. 31, 2024, you can upgrade your active single-state Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license to a Washington state multistate license (MSL). Your Washington single-state license will not automatically change. You must apply for the MSL upgrade if you want a multistate license. If your PSOR is Washington, you have access to HEALWA!
