Healthy People + Healthy Pets

Apr 21, 2025
The Colleges of Nursing and Veterinary Medicine at Washintgon State University joined together to offer a free clinic to people and their pets. Attendees from vulnerable populations -- such as those experiencing homelessness, or living in shelters or transitional care -- were offered health screenings and consultations. Pets received wellness exams and preventive care. The event underscored the commitment of WSU students, faculty, and partners to care for those who often go without, while recognizing the deep bond between people and their pets.
