Biopsy Interpretation the Frozen Section 3rd edition

The current edition of Biopsy Interpretation the Frozen Section has expanded its scope to include a chapter on Infectious Disease, which addresses frozen and gross room issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The overview chapter also expands on up-to-date topics in intraoperative evaluation, including updated College of American Pathologists quality indicators, rapid immunohistochemistry, and telepathology. The remaining subspecialty-specific chapters have been updated to reflect current intraoperative practices and recommendations and to present new gross and microscopic images. This edition also introduces supplemental material in the form of videos which demonstrate recommended handling techniques for mucosal ellipses and smears (cytologic preparations).
