Dec 4, 2024 -

Black Infant Thrive is a new program of the Kitsap Public Health District dedicated to supporting Black mothers and birthing families. The work will focus on reducing the impacts of societal, structural racism and promoting healthy child development. Every Thursday through Feb. 6 the program will be hosting a baby book club for parents, caregivers, and children. Learn more about the progam here. Kitsap Public Health District is surveying Black/African American families about their experiences with maternal health services in Kitsap County. Responses will help guide development of the Black Infant Thrive Program. Complete online survey here.
