The Bree Collaborative has made available a new Heat and Wildfire Smoke Toolkit for Healthcare Professionals, which is designed to equip healthcare professionals with knowledge and strategies to prepare for events, care for affected patients and guide individuals in building resilience before and during extreme heat or wildfire incidents. The toolkit covers care for at-risk populations, health conditions that require special considerations, mental health, and medication concerns. The Bree Collaborative works to improve health care quality, outcome, affordability and equity.
