The UW Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences sponsors Maggie Leland, JD, MSPH, Policy Director for the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, to present a public lecture at the UW on November 7. A remote option is available. Leland is the Policy Director for Washington Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) working in its Governmental Affairs and Policy Division. In this role, she provides strategic advice on policy issues and leads efforts to find collaborative and creative solutions to further L&I’s mission to Keep Washington Safe and Working.
